No audio on one channel - tuning issue??

I've got 0.90.10 and it works fine. I can view previously-recorded stuff, live TV is very snappy, timeshift mode is great.

I've got one little problem and I don't know how to attack it.

TBS (my channel 23) has no sound. It works the same way in live TV, timeshift mode, record/playback. I can play the recorded MPEG file back in WMP and it still has no sound.

It seems like the tuner isn't getting sound, but only for one channel. How can I troubleshoot/fix this problem?

So I guess NO ONE has had this problem then? Maybe I can ask the question differently - is there a way to manually tweak the audio frequency for tuning on that channel? Also, is there a way I can find the right frequency?

You're not alone. I too have the same problem with News14 Time Warner Cable Charlotte, NC

Everything else works great just no sound on that one.

I have been using GBPVR for about a month with no problems....now all of a sudden I have lost audio on my Channel 2. I loaded WinTV2000 and it also does not have sound on that channel.

tipstir...will the tunning assistant help with this?

Yee Haw. I got the sound back! The only problem is now the picture quality suffers. I adjusted the frequency by adding .025 to the value until I got my sound back.

I dont really understand exactly what happened here - can some explain why my sound went out all of a sudden?
