Hauppauge IR32 opening Windows Media Centre

Hi,

Just wondering can anyone help with this. I recently removed my old Nova-T 90002 to replace with a Nova-HD S2. I now have:

Nova-HD S2
Nova-DT 500

When I connect the IR sensor to the Nova-HD, nothing happens. When I connect to the Nova-DT, it seems to bypass Hauppauge's IR32 application and act as an MCE remote. It opens Windows Media Centre, and ignores all the NPVR mappings.

Anyone any thoughts on this strange one?

sound like ir.exe is somehow not binding to the correct tuner and so they remote behaves in an MCE kind of way. It is related to the order in which the tuners were installed.
There are some old post on the forum somewhere and also on the hauppague uk web forum. Actually it may be worth posting there as the problem is a hauppague one.

Not a lot to go on but it may help
