The channels on the Freesat service here in the UK are always jumping around (changing transponder, or video PID, or audio, or...).

I noticed last night - in my GBPVR setup - that another couple of channels had vanished. Turns out their video PIDs had changed.

But clever NPVR with its new way of tuning hadn't lost them.

NPVR doesnt store the PIDs. Instead it dynamically looks them up each time you watch a channel.
