PVR350 and USB2.0 working not together

First i have setup GBPVR with one tunercard PVR350 it works, after serveral tries!
Then i try to setup a second device the PVR USB2 both Hauppauge.
First device #1 and second device #2,with wintv2000 both works well, but only one at the time of course.

Finally i set up everything in Congig.exe in GBPVR and only one device is operating at the time.
If i unplug the PVR USB2.0 device then i can acces the PVR350 for recording or preview the show.
If i plugin the PVR USB2.0 then this device is only operating,and the PVR350 is sleeping all the time.

Other sequenses such as booting with PVR USB2.0 or not, can also generate a failure such as:
Error:Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
This has to be a fault in the IR remote driver settings, or something like that!

If GBPVR works with two devices why (in this case) can i only acces one device,
the PVR350 or the USB2.0,but not both.

Can anyone give me a hint.

For a PVR350 and PVR USB2, both devices should be set to #1.

Hello sub

I tryed out this morning, and it's amazing it works.
I set in Config.exe both Hauppuage devices the PVR350 and the USB2.0 to device #1.

In the Recording status window of GBPVR it shows (again) two devices device #1 and device #2.
I don't get the point,but it works that's is important!
With two GBPVR windows i can watch two shows at the time, or record one show,
and look to the other show and otherwise


Next step is to install and connect MediaMVP (also Hauppauge),
any idea's before i lost the road again, in case of a hidden setting....

I've connected and installed the Hauppauge MediaMVP,works fine,good picture.
Maby a little bit 'slow' reaction when navigate in the menu's.
I'll think its made by design! Anyone can tell me more about it?
But the quality of the picture is (un-espected) good!
Not any freeze frame's, and steady picture's or video!

Now i'm waiting for the USB-UIRT infra-red transeiver to arrive, then i can control the
channel's from the Hauppauge PVR-USB2.0 ext.Tuner.

Then i can tell more....

It does have to do quite bit each time you press a key on the MVP remote, including sending the keystroke across the network to GB-PVR, generate the screen, convert the screen from RGB to YUV, gzip the screen, send it back across the network. These extra steps can take a while.

What spec if your server? Two of the steps (convert to YUV and zip) are really helped by run a server fast machine.

Hello sub

I'm using a 2,8GHz PC with 512 MB memory at 333MHz, Lan at 100 MBit.
Oké its not a >3Ghz machine but for the moment fast enough.

And next:
Suddenly i mis some channels and some channels are doubled,
very strange now, the epg.xml has the same channels as always (new today)
but for some reason it's changed in the "TV GUIDE", any hints to correct them?

Problem solved, some channels i have doubled in Config.exe with different channel numbers,

Hello.

After receiving and installing the USB-UIRT, still i can't change the channels on the Hauppauge PVR-USB2.0.
The channels can only be changed within the Hauppauge WinTV32/2000 programs by remote-control,
not within the GBPVR software.

In config.exe i have try almost every settings but still no control, even in TVGUIDE no
changes, but the transparancy-screen show the changes but not really.
Is the Hauppauge PVR-USB2.0 really supported thrue USB2.0, i mean channel change?
The Hauppauge PVR350 works oke.

Finaly i've got it to work,
the PVR USB2.0 must also be set as internal device,
this works for me after installing GBPVR09105.

I've seen some errors during the update,not badly,
after all it's more stable,than previous version.
