NPVR 2.1.5 R2 - SchedulesDirect

Hi,

I've not found any post that seems to relate to my problem. I've installed NPVR 2.1.5 and added R2 patch over it. NPVR is able to see my HD-PVR and I'm now at the step of adding EPG. I have an account with Schedules Direct so I tried to use that in NPVR. As I can see in the logs, the connection is working but my lineup is not showing when I press "Download". In the log, I can see a message saying that uncompress data was received from SchedulesDirect but that's it. Did I miss something? Is it a bug? How can I get this working?

Do you end up with a schedulesdirect.xml in your NextPVR data directory?

Not at all. To make sure, I even did a search on the complete hard disk without success. No such file was found.

Is there a way to have more debug information in the log?

Unfortunately you might need to wait a couple of days until the next release is out, when I'll be in a position to add more logging messages.

Is there something to do while awaiting the new version? I was planning on testing NPVR this weekend but it seems I'll have to change my plan.

You can always use xmltv instead of schedules direct if you want. Various xmltv utilities can still get your listings from schedules direct.

mc2xml will get schedules direct, and gives you a simple gui to get setup. see the second post of the tech support thread in my sig

Are there any channels associated with the recording device? If not, try doing a channel scan or enter the channels manually. Once the channels are associated with a recording device, it may store the data.
