We've been having some funkiness with our NPVR setup (we have a Colossus card and a PCTV 800e) which we thought might be traceable to the various manual adjustments we had to do to get the Colossus working (prior to sub coding full support for the Colossus).

We decided to wipe our old NPVR setup (config.xml, npvr.db3, are backed up) and reinstall. Upon reinstallation, NPVR automatically recognized the Colossus and the PCTV HD Pro... but not entirely correctly. It thinks the PCTV stick is actually the European DVB-T (330e/800e) version instead of the US version (800e). This is a problem obviously because when it asks to set the country/region, the US is not an option.

Visit the Settings->Devices screen, then post the npvr.log and I'll check it out.

I cant really see any reason why that would be - it looks like it's detected it as a ATSC tuner in the logs.

If you delete the database to force it to create a new one, does it still show as DVB-T?

Well, I renamed npvr.db3 and let NPVR create a new one and now it's recognized properly as an ATSC device... weird.... Thanks!

Yeah, it is odd. I suspect they use the same driver for devices that support different television standard, and for whatever reason it temporarily reported DVB-T.
