Disabling WEB-server

In the process of bughunting I tried to untick the "Enable WEB-server" in Settings and restarted recording service and NextPVR, but the gadget showing pending recordings still works, and I can connect to that pc via my browser and display the tv guide. Do I have to reboot to make this setting efficient?

I checked the recording service code and there was a typo in the setting name it was checking to deteremine if the web server was on or off. I've fixed it for the next release.

So, is it impossible to turn off NEWA?

Yeah, effectively.
