Trying to get plugin talking to NPVR...

So I got NPVR working -- still got a few issues to work out.. I tried firing up XBMC on another machine (a Mac running OSX 10.7.5) and loaded the latest plugin and am using it with the latest XBMC nightly build (10/10).. When I give it the IP of the NPVR server (10.0.1.12) it takes it just fine but when I enable it, it fails.. Attached is the log file for XBMC & NPVR

Where did you next the OSX version of the addon? I'm not aware of anyone having compiled it for a Mac.

I've only heard of people using it on Windows, Linux and Raspberry Pi.

Ahh.. you are correct -- I just downloaded the plugin and didn't give it a second thought! OSX is not my platform of choice for XBMC -- it will be a Windows box.. I guess that might have something to do with it!!! I just dont have the hardware yet for the 'final' install that will be generally used.. Thanks for the clarification -- I will shelve this for now and try another platform instead..

The addon itself should be source code compatible with OSX, but no one has built it yet. If an OSX developer finds himself wanting to get the addon going on a Mac, there is probably not much effort required.
