XRecord and recording padding

Somewhere in the back of my mind I thought I saw a mention of this but can't find the post.

Am I right in thinking that if you have more than one tuner that XRecord will take into consideration the pre/post padding and schedule back to back recordings on the different tuners rather than the default GB-PVR approach to put them both on the default tuner?

I dont today. But I can detect this in fastfind and guide2j and schedule it on a different capture source. I think that is how sub checks.
