Problem setting up NPVR as server

DirectX is only needed for the menus in the UI. Your problem is that Server variants of Windows do not include BDA components, which is why you get the "No BDA capture filter for this device" error. A couple of people have successfully installed/patched the BDA components into Server 2008 if you search the forum. Some could not get it to work however.

I'm not really sure what to suggest for this one. It looks like this device has a combined receiver filter rather than a separate tuner+capture filters. The logs look like the app has detected that ok, but the device has failed to start when NextPVR has asked it to.
