I have an awesome 27" DVI-only IPS monitor that isn't HDCP compliant. I just got a HDHomeRun Prime and installed NPVR on my Win7 (64 bit) PV connected to my non-HDCP monitor, and got it running with no drama.
Then I started playing with Windows Media Center and it wouldn't show any TV, just putting up a message about HDCP (even though every channel on my cable system is "copy freely")
Then I tried NPVR again and can't see video from the HDHR Prime, just a black screen, no audio, no video.
Did Media Center do something to my setup that broke NPVR? Or does NPVR bend over for HDCP? Or did the HDHR Prime log my MAC address as being reported by WMC as not respecting HDCP? Or what?
Quickview still works on this PC and NPVR works on another PC that has a MAFIAA approved display..
