Zap2it channel listings

For some reason I can't download the zap2it listings. I checked my username and pass and it is entered correctly. When I try to download it just sits and doesn't do anything for as long as I let it go until finally I just end it. I am broadband so I know that isn't it. I am guessing it is a firewall issue (someone had a comment in another post). I can't seem to find out what port it uses however.

Some users have reported the first update taking like 45 minutes. Why, I dont know...it takes about 5 on my machine.

You could log into http://labs.zap2it.com and make sure your channel lineup only contains the channel you really want. Less channel will make the process much quicker.

The Zap2It processing isn't optimized well at all. XMLTV processing is much faster. With that said, my initial load of Zap2It data, took about 10 to 15 minutes or so. After that it updates in about 5 minutes.
