I don't have an STB myself; but if you're still using IR Server Suite then I believe the argument is still -channel {channel} as in this post that you've been directed to before:

That post was written by sub, who wrote the code for NPVR. I wouldn't argue with his argument, especially since an IR Server Suite user reported in the very next post that it worked.

I would have to agree with Martin. Yelling (CAPS) is not really a way forward here, particularly when you seem to have taken 3 days to re-visit your question? It cannot have been that urgent?

If help is really what you need for this make sure you know what you need before getting shirty?

Is it only help with lmremote that you are after? OR just something that will work for you?

im not yelling, i have been trying to get my hp wmc blaster working with my colossus since i got it back in september, after finally giving up on the hauppauge ir blaster, here is the complete setup i have ir server suite, not lmremote, i have it setup just like the guide i referenced, and i have changer set to excutable, for executable i have it pointing to the irblast.exe file, so for the argument it should just be -channel {channel}? ill try this then report back, i also have irss running and connected, is there something im missing? Please guys if u could help me get this id be wiling to make a nice donation via paypal or in the form of lunch oneday possible, i need to get thing working eventually, Thanks

i tried to change channels using my hp wmc remote the digits appeared in npvr and when i looked at the ir receiver after i hit the 3rd and last digit the led blinks 3 times, whatever that means but i dont recall it doing that before, so i guess the guide is a little off, or doesnt work with my setup, so what should i do next?

Jam u hijacked my thread. COULD SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHERE I CAN FIND THE ARGUMENT FOR MY EXTERNAL IR RECEIVER/BLASTER?

I gave you two links that showed you how to use LM remote with a WMC IR blaster...the second link gave you exactly how to use it in NPVR/GBPVR. In addition, I gave you some of my experiences for your future reference. Then PBS added a bit more info.

If you want more help you'll need to provide more detail on things like what you've done and maybe screen captures.

Don't try it with NPVR yet...use IRSS and use the test feature to save time. The red blinking is a good sign and it's probably blasting properly. Some more questions:
Is your IR blaster blasting in the right area of your STB
When you do blast can you see if your STB is receiving any signal - see a number change on your STB?
what version of IRSS are you using...I had an old version which didn't blast multiple numbers properly
Have you tried both IR blaster ports

Test doesn't work even tho blaster is in the same position from when I learned ir codes from my cable box remote, haven't tried the 2nd plug on the receiver and my stb doesn't show any digits, though in npvr i do see the digits appear on the screen, I'll try the executable with the noblast in it and I believe I'm using the latest version of irss, I downloaded it about a month ago. I'll try these thing when I get home. Around 5 eastern time. Thank guys

i first tried the 2nd plug on the receiver, still no channel change, i then added the noirblast instead of irblast.exe, didnt work, i am using version 1.5.0.62 i assume, which i also assume is the latest version because when i do a google search for irss download cant find it in anywhere in the irss program and when i go to documentation in the irss folder in programs the link is broken, thats the latest one i found
