im not exactly sure on how to run this from the commandline, i know u press cd to change the directory but then what, im rusty, havent used command line in awhile eventhough its simple, i also tried the irblastnowindows.exe instead of irblast and still no luck

In a command prompt paste or retype
"C:\Program Files\IR Server Suite\IRBlast.exe" -host localhost -channel 252 -delay 350 to see if you stb changes channels to 252 Martin

i decided to try and relearn the ir codes for my stb remote but when hit learn in translator it automatically say failed, y is this

Personally I don't know, I use firewire tuning which just works without learning.

So can I use my windows media center Hp remote and ir receiver if I go the firewire method? Didn't see this in the tutorial

Yes, the MCE remote controls NPVR, and NPVR changes channels on the STB via firewire. The exdeus guide is pretty good, but if you are using Win7, you need to first make a change to the firewire driver within windows. I'm not sure that is covered in the exdeus guide.
It needs to be set to legacy mode as below: Quote:Right click on the firewire host controller entry in the device manager and choose Update Driver Software What kind of STB do you have? A Motorola will work almost for sure, Scientific Atlanta may have some issues. I have Motorola and it works great. You can even record from the firewire, but that's for another time. You need to get through this part first.

I have a pace rng150n, there is a Motorola box comcast is issuing that is almost identical to the pace. Not sure of the model number but if I need to I can switch my pace for my cousins Motorola thAt is in his room. Thanks for the help
