So you'd basically have to re-write your whole app targeting the 2011 devices (which you don't have) from the start. Obviously not going to happen.
I don't think anyone will be too upset, it's not like anyone went out and bought a 2011 device expecting to run NextPVR on it. It was just an unfortunate tease for those of us who just happened have those devices. My local Fry's Electronics often has "major name brand" "smart" tv's and blu-ray players on sale at a great price, sometimes they turn out to be Samsung... that's how I have the BD-D5300 (paid only $59!). So I'll keep an eye out for another deal on a 2013 model.
In the meantime I'll pursue getting Plex really working right. I didn't configure it much before, didn't put in the effort to get it properly displaying recorded TV shows.
