Slimdx error Windows 8.1 preview

Hi
I've been getting this error when I stop a file playing [or stop Live TV] though not every time. See attached error message.
Also I get a .Net framework error intermittently - I'll have to post that later,
Perhaps this doesn't matter too much if the new release of NPVR is imminent? [Also 8.1 final soon]
Please note I had no errors before installing 8.1 preview [I was using 8.0 before and upgraded rather than a fresh install and the errors started straight away in 8.1]

When you open Settings in NextPVR, do you now see a warning about DirectX? If so, there's probably an error in your NPVR.log also. A link to the "Full DirectX Runtime" can be found in post #2 of the top sticky thread, "NPVR 2.6.2 - Current Patches and Getting Started info."

On a side note: Have you used the BGT3620 with DVB-C or analog? There's an unanswered query in the Hardware forum. Reliable DVB-C tuners seem to be scarce.

I do recall the DirectX warning and re-installed DirectX then the warning went away.Can't recall whether or not it was the full install though so have just installed the full setup. [the web installer said I was up to date and no update was required]. So I'll see how it goes.
Sorry I have no DVB-C or analogue services to test.
