I was having problems with one of my DVB-T receivers today and rebooted the machine a number of times to de-install and reinstall the H/W.
Having got the DVB-T tuner working again I seem to have corrupted the NPVR.db3 database... The NPVR Recording Service will not start. If I rename the file I can start the NPVR Recording Service, as a new NPVR.db3 is created.
Having lost the old database I am missing all the timers and .5TB of recordings :-(
Is it possible to identify and fix the old database? It's about 8MB in size. I was able to open on a trial version of a repair application but didn't identify any issues or allow me to 'resave' the file...
Any suggestions gratefully received.
Nigel
