It won't work without the translations XML from SD to DVB format. I posted this one http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post466793 as a push to get people started on this. I have a better one but I don't don't to be the North American genre guy and I don't even use it anymore since I hate the guide in Gotham now. I hope someone else will run with it

The stupid blue bar plus the shading that obfuscates the current show name which may or may not even be displayed and the fact it shows too much expired info.

Right but on 5 o the 10 shows it still doesn't tell you what is on now.

mvallevand Wrote:The file is in the NextPVR data directory xbmc-genre-translation.xml There is a more complete list of codes here https://github.com/opdenkamp/xbmc-pvr-ad...lation.xml but I am not sure they all have distinct colours. If your genres are in the file, reset the EPG database.

So I have used the genre-translations.xml whilst trying out mediaportal and it worked but tried this in the equivalent location for NPVR and no luck - am I right in thinking it should be in ...Program Files/XBMC/addons/pvr.nextpvr/addon/resources/ ??

It's the NextPVR data folder. If the defaults don't work you and they should for DVB they be prepared to edit the file.
