Yeah, I think this was a bug fixed in current release. You shouldn't get it happening with any new recordings made in 3.2.9. You can always edit the metadata from these old recordings to fix it.

I assume you mean the embedded metadata, since changing the separate one did nothing. Any hints on how I can get at the metadata?

You might just need to delete the cache files from C:\Users\Public\NPVR\Thumbs, so that'll regenerate them.

Bones.S09E14.The Master in the Slop.ts
Bones.S09E15.The Heiress in the Hill.ts
Bones.S09E16.The Source in the Sludge.ts
Bones.S09E17.The Repo Man in the Septic Tank.ts
Bones.S09E18.The Carrot in the Kudzu.ts

As seen in the attached image, first three show just names, last three have the S09Exx added. XML's have been attached.

Okay, this is interesting. As suggested, I deleted the cache files in the Thumbs directory. NOTE: These files have been recorded on a system running 3.1.1, but are being viewed through the Videos section on a machine running the latest version.

So now, the Castle files are all showing up with just the title, i.e. just "Law & Boarder" for the middle one, the other two the same as before. But the Bones files are now ALL showing like the last three, for example "S09E13 Big in the Philippines".

Don't know what to make of any of this, but thought I should update things.

In the screenshot above, its giving you a subtitle for the episode when it's available, for example "Big in the Philippines". When a subtitle isn't available (like no metadata file), then it gives to the file name (with first part matching directory name removed) ie "S09E16 The Source in the Sludge". So the trick is to work out what it's not finding metadata. Either your standalone metadata file doesn't match the name, or like the last example has something invalid in the xml which is stopping it being loaded.

I've got two things on the new Videos details screens. First, when there are multiple items in the directory, I am prompted if I really want to delete an item when I select Delete, but on single file directories, it doesn't prompt, it just deletes.

Got so tied up in the second problem, forgot all about this one. It should still prompt me about delete when only one, should it not?
