You'd be proud of me I did some forum searching and it seems that the only way to "fix" this issue is to delete npvr.db3 and start over with the channel mappings. This is gonna be painful as I have over 670 channels!! Although, truth be told, I probably only watch 10 of them.

OK, that's done and I can now see channel listings on both the PVR itself and my XBMC clients.

Still have "tuner unavailable" issues reported by XBMC though when I try to watch liveTV. Hpwever, I can schedule recordings from XBMC and they do record.

I think I found the corruption culprit. I had tried to install the nDroid service but it didn't work.

Do you manage to watch live tv at all in XBMC but stops with 'tuner unavailable', or it never starts?

It never starts.

The arrow spins in the bottom right corner for about 5 or so seconds later the unavailable message appears.

Reproduce the problem, and post the xbmc.log, as well as the web.log and nrecord.log.
