No way to set recording directory on manual recording?

The wiki says that the directory box will show up when doing a manual recording if multiple directories are configured. Well, they are, and, show up just fine with a regular recording. But on the manual recording popup, they do not.

Is there a way to get it to show up?

Sorry, it's not currently possible to set this on a manual recording. (no space to squeeze it in)

as far as I know this will work, but I could be wrong:

pick any show in the EPG, create a recurring recording using the "Record All Episodes, All Channels" type (the last one in the list). Set the destination directory as you need.

now go to the Recurring Recordings list, find the newly created recurring recording and select "Update". You'll see this is actually a Manual recording with a SQL matcher in the "Advanced Rules:" field; clear the Advanced Rule (move to the field and just start hitting Backspace) and edit the other settings to create the manual recording you actually want. It should keep the originally set destination directory.

I think if you enter a name other than Default that name become the sub-directory of the recording directory, which is better than throwing them all into one folder.

Ok, but, the wiki needs corrected then. On this page:

While the picture is correct in not showing the directory, the text below says it will be there. Also, the link on the menu near the top of this page, under manual recordings, has a link directly to directory. This is the part that confused me and I spent a lot of time trying to figure out what I was doing wrong.

Hmm, I do see that the name I entered is a subdirectory as you indicated here.
