Encrypted Channels

you could use the Primes for the unencrypted channels and get a colossus or hdpvr unit to watch encrypted channels from a stb like i do... [from component outs on stb, removing encryption]
it means fewer tuners for encrypted, but it's usually manageable for me, don't watch too much encrypted stuff regularly..

Another way of achieving this - if you can get an Enigma2 box (Vu+ etc) to decrypt the channels you want, these channels can be streamed from the box, and the streams can be set up in NPVR as IPTV channels. Works very well, and you have a backup method of watching TV if your PVR machine goes down.

Unfortunately there is no equivalent of an Enigma2 box for North America.
