Hello,

When there is a conflict between a recurring recording and something else (manual recording or another recurring recording), nothing is shown in "conflicts" and the recurring recording doesn't start, without notice.

Why is there nothing in conflicts ?

Do an 'update epg', so it logs the scheduling information, then post the logs and the names/times of the shows that should conflict, and we'll take a look.

I will do so, but listen, in settings, Misc 2, I have checked "Auto update EPG". So each days, automatically, EPG updates itself.
And still no conflicts, never.
It's tricky to get that, as it needs to have a pending recording planned in more than one week to be in the same time than the recurring recording.
Let me prepare such an example and I will collect the logs when I get that problem.

Roland

Yes - the only reason I say to do an 'update epg', is to force it to log the scheduler information, so that I can look at the end of your logs, and see what is happening.

Here a good example :
- a first recurring recording called "Nexo Knights", every sunday, from 09:30AM to 10:30AM.
- THEN another recurring called "TFou dimanche", every sunday from 09:30AM to 10:30AM.
No conflicts.
Ok, it's a very bad example but it should show the conflict, no ?
Here are the logs.

There will not be a conflict when NextPVR is able to multi-record. More than one digital channel can broadcast on a single frequency (or multiplex). The tuner can tune to one frequency and is able to receive all of the channels on that frequency. NextPVR is able to record shows on all of the channels on a frequency at the same time.

Your tuner device has two tuners and would be able to record shows on two different frequencies at the same time. With two tuners you might be able to record 6 or 8 or more shows at the same time.

Ok. The two recordings use differents multiplex, I have just verified. I didn't know that my happauge usb digital tuner had two tuners, it's a good news.
One thing I don't understand : if there is no conflict, why is there only one recording shown in the pending recordings panel ? I can't see the second one, it is not planned for recording.
So no conflict, but no record, and no warning.
I think there's something more...

Sorry ... I am wrong ... Your ndigitalhost-22.log that has

Quote:2016-02-24 02:02:27.138 [DEBUG][1] CaptureSource.LoadAll()

I failed to notice the date ... it looks like you only have one tuner and that is logging to ndigitalhost-23.log. Sorry.

You may be able to get NextPVR to reschedule recording and show conflicts by doing an EPG update.
