There should only be a TV Listings folder under Plugins. A TV Recordings folder is not required.
TV Guide and Recordings are the defaults installed with NPVR.
If you install the add-on for TV Listings and TV Recordings it's entirely up to you whether you use the defaults or enable TV Listings/Recordings or both.
Personally I'm not sure why you'd want to have both TV Guide and TV Listings or both Recordings and TV Recordings enabled.
In the end, the choice is yours.
