missing capture device error 401

I came back from holiday and now my iptv channels don't play and I get this error (unable to find available capture device the remote server obtained the error:401 unauthorised). the epg is still working and I checked the m3u link on vlc player and it is working I have also deleted nextpvr including the user file and reinstalled still no joy. I have hit google pretty hard today but I'm totally baffled can anyone help I would normally have given up by now but nextpvr is the best pc media centre imo so would like a fix

I'm guessing maybe the URLs have changed. Try deleting the channels and reimporting them.

thanks for the offer but not needed i decided to reinstall windows 10 last night and live stream is working again i just need to get the audio and epg working tonight after work but shouldn't be to difficult now i now what im doing

Hi I have the same error:
I have installed on my PC:
Windows10 Pro 64-bit; Intel Core i3 530; 4GB RAM, NVIDIA GT240
the last version of NextPVR 4.0.4 (170820).
I have not any decoder installed on my PC, because I want to use NextPVR with a IPTV list.
The list that I use work correctly in VLC on the same PC.
When I try to see one of the channel the interface of NPVR return me this message:
Unable to find available capture device
(Errore del server remoto: (401) Non autorizzato.)
After I have seen what appened to "confuzz" i have tryed on another PC but the error is the same.
I am very frustrated because I think NextPVR is unique in its functionality and potential but unfortunately I can not use it.
This is the error message:

There was a patch for user agent errors that could cause some 401 errors This is probably the newest version of the patched file https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...post518105

Thank you very much for your timely support.
I tried the patch in this way:
I have stopped the service,
I have replacede dll in: C:\Program Files (x86)\NPVR
I have replaced dll in: C:\Users\Public\NPVR\web\Bin
and at the end I have restarded the service.
Unfortunately the error persists.

False alarm!
After replacing the files and restarting the system everything started to work !!!
