Troubling Recording Results

In the last few days, I have been getting troubling results trying to record. Of particular note is an attempt on Monday night, 2018-01-29 19:59:00.121, to simultaneously record Lucifer and Supergirl, both scheduled for 8:00pm and, later on, Scorpion at 10:00pm. All three recordings created entries in the recordings folder but all were of virtually no duration. I looked through the logs and discovered a lot of entries regarding ignoring recordings: "1208-01-29 20:59:00.410 [DEBUG][9] (ignoring [39498] 'Arrow' since it starts after this recording finishes)". There's a bunch like this. Never seen this before.

Can you help me find out what's wrong?

There is no sign of any errors in those three recordings you mentioned, so it looks like it would have recorded whatever data would have come from the device. My guess is the HDHR or network was having some problem. We have very occasionally seen an HDHR that had shit itself and needed to be rebooted.

Will try a DCR-3250 reboot and see what happens. Hadn't thought of that...thanks.

What about those messages "ignoring recordings?" Is that HDHR related?

These can be safely ignored, and aren't a sign of any problem. These messages appear in the logs when the recording service looks at other available tuners, to decide if it's worth moving an up-coming recording to a different tuner, so the current recording can get post padding etc.

I rebooted the DCR-3250, but last night's recordings had some issues. I will post logs if I see anything unusual.
