Kodi 18 on Windows 10.

I can watch NextPVR for a while then suddenly it freezes and the message "tuner not available" pops up. No scheduled recordings, plenty of space on hard drive for buffer. The only way to get it back seems to be restart Kodi.

The tuner not available message is misleading it just means any server connection error. In those logs you did an EPG upgrade while your are watching TV

During the epg update there was an error that will have caused your live tv to fail

That is never a good thing and it will throw Kodi out of sync for a while. Best to schedule it for off hours.

The timing might not be the only issue that is what those logs showed, post new logs if it happens again. Also given you are using an alpha nightly version of Kodi you should expect problems.
