Good Day...Going to settings>channels>channel details>EPG Source and trying to add a lineup from Schedules Direct I get an "exceeded maximum bla bla" message. I log into SD and I see my 3 lineups so why can I not bring into NPVR? Thanks in advance. Cheers!

Are you talking about the lineups you see at https://www.schedulesdirect.org/lineupsupport? These aren't same lineups you'll get in NextPVR (or any other application using their json api). There is nowhere on their website to see your json lineups.

You'll need to look at the 'Current Lineups' list in NextPVR. If you've got too many, then remove them using the 'Remove Lineup' button on that screen.

You can only download from SD a certain number of times in 24 hours. Also you can only modify the account so many times in 24 hours. I saw in other posts that you use mc2xml not sure if that is even a support app for downloading from SD.

Good day...Thanks for the quick response. I am writing about this area in NPVR...

Below you can see my 3 lineups in SD but why can't I get to the one below and bring it into NPVR? Yes, I understand the limits but if the lineup is in SD shouldn't it always be in NPVR and not subject to deletion?

In the below image, this is the missing lineup that is no longer available to me to bring in unless I wait the 24 hours. Again why?

I use mc2xml because it affords me to be specific on what channel I want to bring in. In addition, mc2xml allows me to rename the channel so that it auto maps in NPVR whereas Zap2xml does not in both areas. Unless u know of a way whereas I can accomplish this same exercise using zap2xml. I realize I can go through and select the channels I want by going to Zap2it or TV Guide and selecting them on their site which would fulfill my needs. However, there are many channels in the m3u file which cannot be gotten through either site. Schedule Direct has access (yes, I know u know) to all therefore, I chose it along with mc2xml. If here is a programmatic way to do this using Zaptxml please advise. Thanks fr you assistance...Cheers!

Good Day...One last thing, on this site http://mc2xml.awardspace.info/ it indicates it is..."mc2xml is a small and fast command line program for Windows, Linux and OSX that can download TV listings from media center, metabroadcast, rovi cloud, perc data, schedules direct, titantv, tvmedia, and xbox oneguide and convert them to an XMLTV formatted (xmltv.dtd) .xml file. Apparently it also supports NextPVR according to that URL above. Thanks in advance...Cheers!

The online list and the SD JSON list of services are different. You can't see the JSON list on the web site only via the API

For approved apps I look here http://www.schedulesdirect.org/approvedsoftware

zap2xml is entirely different it is a scraper and I wouldn't recommend it either.

Thanks for that Martin. I second that vote. I only use it occasionally when I cannot identify the tvg-name or tvg-id from the SD pull in order to match with my Vader Streams provider. It does come in handy for that only. Do you know of a better JSON based utility that would work with NPVR and SD JSON? Cheers!

edit: Forgot to mention I have used EPG123 in the past but may need to revisit them as I am sure they have made some advances...hopefully.

What exactly did your "exceeded maximum bla bla" message say? It's most likely telling you exactly why you can't add this lineup. As Martin said, you may have gone over your limit for the lineup changes for the day or something.

Quote:Below you can see my 3 lineups in SD but why can't I get to the one below and bring it into NPVR? Yes, I understand the limits but if the lineup is in SD shouldn't it always be in NPVR
As mentioned, the lineup list shown on the web site is entirely separate from the lineup list seen by applications (like NextPVR). I have no idea why they chose to have these separate lineup lists, but they did. You'll need to look in the NextPVR screen to see what your current lineups are.
