Fresh Kodi installation crashes when NextPVR plugin tries access the NPVR server

What do you mean by "Do you update the runtime when you install Kodi?" ?

When you install Kodi there is a tick box to update the Visual Studio runtime. I am surprised you aren't getting the mini dump file.

Ok. It seems to me that I had left checked.
I just reinstall kodi 18.1 leaving the box checked and no better, still no dmp file.
I'm not going to waste your time anymore. Tomorrow I will install Win10 64 bit.

Thanks for the help. I can't imagine what is causing your issue which is why I looked with you. It never seemed like an add-on issue. Did you see anything in the event viewer?
