When I click on the Record Series button after selecting a show in the Guide in the web app, it is now generating a Manual Recordings for Daily, Any Channel with the Advance Rules "title like 'show name'" rather than a normal recurring recording for that show on that channel. (Which I'm pretty sure is what it was doing back in the beginning.) Is that change intended behavior?

Hmm, it shouldn't be doing that. I just tried this here, and behaving correctly - ie, a normal guide based season recording.

Is it reproducible there? If so, I could jump back on and take a look.

You should only get that if you click on a show in the guide, click Advanced, and set the recording type to 'all episodes, all channels'.

I just tested it more with several shows. And also did a Ctrl-F5 to make sure the css, etc. was the latest. And every time, I'm getting and "All Channels" "title like" recording rather than a regular series recording.

So is this just by clicking on a show in the Guide page, then clicking 'Record Series'?

Yes. I'm using the web app (via Chrome browser on a Windows PC if that matters). I go to the guide grid, then click on a show episode, then in the show episode's pop-up, I click the Record Series button.

I'm attaching logs. You can see "KARE 11 News at 5" (15:37), "Bob's Burgers" at 15:52 and "Bless the Harts".

I've updated the Windows pre-release build if you can double check it for me? I'm pretty sure it's fixed. If you can confirm, I'll push out another beta for other users.

I can confirm that it appears to have fixed that problem. (And in the process, I think I also figured out the Service problem--see that post for an update shortly. Big Grin )
