Microsoft's EPG service for WMC retired

I'm surprised there has been no discussion here, since Microsoft announced this months ago: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows...center#343. I have WMC with TV Pack on an old PC running Vista, and have no data available after tomorrow night at 6 PM.

So WMC no longer has the advantage of free and easy (albeit somewhat unsatisfactory) guide data, and NextPVR can now be used on platforms other than Windows. The future looks promising!

I was aware of it. Hopefully we'll pick up a few ex-WMC center users.

I'm sure there are a few. They can still update withe Schedules Direct data using EPG123 and but once they have the subscription, they can even evaluate NextPVR with the EPG.
