Channel groups

Channel groups are bit of pain to deal with. If I rescan a tuner it removes all channels from that group except the channels that were just scanned. I added a new DVB-T2 card today and scanned it, it added the channels from that card to the Entertainment group but remove all the channels from the DVB-S2 and IPTV devices that where in that group.

So does this only happen to me or is it a bug?

When I scan my ATSC channels it messes up all of my IPTV channel groups. I have to delete the IPTV device and import again.

I haven't noticed any problem with this here.

Looking at it just now, I did notice one small thing relating to changes to the channel groups list not reloading in the web app after scanning new channels until you entirely left the Settings page then came back (like going to Recordings, then back to Settings). I've fixed this for the next build. This doesn't sound like what you're describing, but it can certainly make things confusing.

If you don't think this is related to what you're seeing, can you please try to describe the exact steps to reproduce the issue?

I'll have to go through the steps again to be sure I get them correct I don't want to mess with my setup at the moment though. I believe it is just starting with an IPTV device setup that has multiple channel groups. Next, scan ATSC. After it's done and saved, most of the channel groups are gone and the ones remaining kind of get merged with the ATSC channels.
