I would be most grateful for someone to help me with the setting up of this software.
I am trying to make it work with a nova T card.
I can set the source OK in the config utility.
When I set the EPG source it asks for an XMLTV file. I have read the various posting but can I understand how to make a file up. There must be some simple way to set one up so that I can use the software. I have used the config.xml file in the gbpvr folder and then tried to map digital channels to the epg but nothing happens.I get this message saying 'You must import your list of epg channels' - where are they!!
I am doing something so simply wrong - some of the younger members must think this question is so daft!
Thanks Cool http://forums.gbpvr.com/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=7#

You need to run some third-party XMLTV software which produces a XML (text) file contain the list of channels, shows, start and end time. After you have this, you configure GB-PVR to use this file, without it GB-PVR has no way to no what channels you have and what programs are running.

The choice of xmltv software depends on where you are in the world you are. xmltv for most parts of the world can be found at http://www.xmltv.org

If you're using a DVB device, you need to setup your channel before using GB-PVR. Click the 'Map digital channels to EPG channel' button.
