PUSH streaming to MVPs?

More musing from me.

Is it possible to control the output of an MVP (i.e., what is seen/heard on the remote TV) from the PC end? For example, you're sitting at your PC and you bring up GB-PVR and open the theoretical 'push streaming' plug-in, select a video recording, say, then tell it to play on the Living Room MVP, for example, then bring up a music playlist, say, and tell it to play on the Bedroom MVP.

Its not supported in anyway, but you can start GB-PVR with the following parameters:

gbpvr.exe -mvpmode -visible

This shows the user interface on the local PC. Any updates to the screens/menus that were triggered by the keyboard are not noticed by the MVP, so it just keeps showing the same screen, but if you trigger playback of a music file, or video, or live tv, then it'll play on the MVP.
