Hi,

I've been running NextPVR on a Linux HP desktop server for a while with no problems. I'm trying to reduce our 24/7 power consumption so installed NextPVR on a Raspberry Pi 3 running Raspian Buster (up to date) that I've used for playing Music for a while. I downloaded the 'nextpvr-helper.deb' file and installed it with no problems. NextPVR is running, I can see the status is Ok. I can open the login screen from Chrome (http://127.0.0.1:8866) and from my networked desktop. What I cannot do is log in, the standard admin/password doesn't work, just says 'Login Failed'. I've trawled through Google and found some comments, all suggest using admin/password. I can't find 'nextpvr.conf' but did find /opt/nextpvr/system/data/config-master-don't-edit.conf and that has the correctly hashed 'password' password according to a couple of items I found through Google.

Any suggestions how I can resolve this please ?

Regards
PaulM

Sure first don't post in the h/w section this should be in the linux sub-forum since it is a software question

You are looking at the default settings you want /var/opt/nextpvr/config.xml

Note with this h/w you won't be able to use the web app for playback. Alternatively install LE10 instead of Raspian and run Kodi and NextPVR together and use Kodi for playback. I've only done testing like that on a RPi4 so the 3 might not have enough horse power.

Why are you running the server 24/7? I think most people set the server PC to sleep when not in use!

NextPVR only supports power management on Windows.
