Able to watch a stream in the WebApp, but not in the client

Hi,
forgive me, new to this. Did try a search but couldn't find an exact solution to my problem.
I have been given an old Terratec Cinergy DT USB XS Tuner. Using the WebApp I was able to select the device and scan the channels, the EPG, etc. I can then go to the EPG, select a program and click on Watch Now and a few seconds later the stream appears on my screen.
It does not work on the NextPVR client, nor on the Kodi Addon.
Any idea why? What am I doing wrong? The device clearly works, as it I am able to watch TV through the WebApp as aforementioned.

Try watching it in the NextPVR client, then post the logs and I'll take a look.
