sub,
This isn't something I expect you to fix, but wanted to make you aware of it.

I use a NAS for archived recordings and periodically I take it offline. When I do, performance of the NextPVR client drops substantially when browsing or pulling up the guide. I don't recall having this issue with V4, but I could be wrong.

For example, loading the Recordings list in this case took over a minute. Maybe a network timeout setting? (I have a large number of recordings)
2022-04-08 16:27:30.050 [DEBUG][1] LoadList@1
2022-04-08 16:28:36.176 [DEBUG][1] LoadList@2

I can do more testing and provide detailed logs if you want.

What do you have for these

<AutoRemoveMissingRecordings>true</AutoRemoveMissingRecordings>
<CheckForRenamedRecordings>true</CheckForRenamedRecordings>
<NoRemoveWhenTreeMissing>true</NoRemoveWhenTreeMissing>

Verbose logging gives more details on those settings too.

Martin,
I have these:
<AutoRemoveMissingRecordings>true</AutoRemoveMissingRecordings>
<CheckForRenamedRecordings>false</CheckForRenamedRecordings>
<NoRemoveWhenTreeMissing>true</NoRemoveWhenTreeMissing>

I'll try out the verbose logging...

I think it is the AutoRemoveMissingRecordings that is causing you grief since it will check if the file is there and timeout.

That makes sense. Normally I don't have it turned on, but was doing some cleanup.
Thanks, Art

Then you lost any of your archived recordings on the NAS too.

I haven't. The NoRemoveWhenTreeMissing=true prevents that I believe.

Right you are. Not sure how that works in linux which is what I use so I avoid auto deleting, I don't know where the tree starts.
