hmm didn't seem to work. Should group be nextpvr as well? or does that not matter?

The group shouldn't matter but my guess if you did it correctly it should be video anyway.

What do you see with

ls -la /var/opt/nextpvr/Plugins

Just wanted to give an update. So far 3 games recorded and all extended with NextEnd. So awesome thanks so much for the help.

I mentioned before i used NextPVR briefly years and years ago (was on Windows then) and remembered NPVR as an option to setup Home PVR and set it up with my M3U/XML edited files and its incredible. I actually don't record that much, but so nice to know i can. I appreciate it so much i sent a donation and will donate in the future, just keep this going!

Great it generally will work but there are times it will fail. Consider using one of the the options to have NextEnd cancel the recording when it knows it stops.

In the next update for netcore 6 I do strip out non ASCII Unicode to better match Schedules Direct.
