Not sure if this counts as a Core component sorry if it's in the wrong forum

I have just enabled the Web Admin tool and can get access to
Manage Recordings but when I select TV Listings I do not get anything other
the time bar at the top
I do not have any problems downloading listings using XMLTV-RT and importing them into GBPVR and they show fine within GBPVR just not Web Admin.

I have removed gbweb.dll and pdb as suggested in another thread but for different reason (Just thought I'd try it) and this made absolutley no difference

What am I doing wrong??

I think the problem lies with the GBPVR.mdb I am asuming that this is where the data is retrieved from
In addition to no TV Guide showing I also only get manual recordings shown in the Manage Recording Section
No Channel Numbers or Recording Detail eg. Title & Description

1. I had Access 2003 installed removed this just in case it was screwing the .mdb connections (No Change)

2. I have changed the GBPVR Directory and Subdirectories Permission Levels to Everyone Full Control (No Change)

3. I have installed King Argyle's updated Enhanced Web Admin 14b (No Change)

Someone please help!! Don't know where to look next

wattsy: the other thread's sugesstion, was to remove all files _except_ gbweb.dll and gbweb.pdb.

Go look in C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322\Temporary ASP.NET Files\gbpvr\<rand>\<rand>\assembly\dl2\ for the folder that contains gbpvrpublic.dll, there should also be the log files if you're interested.

FYI: I'm using my SoftwareRecorder, so I have to copy the plugin from gbpvr/plugins to gbpvr/web/plugins - otherwise it only shows channels 50% of the time.

it looks like something suddenly started working around '06/05/2005 20:30:56', but I think all the previous errors are now causing the later ones. Try restarting the recording service (and if that doesn't help try restarting the whole machine). See if any of that helps. The 'new' set of errors look like a wierd access issue (which could be caused by the previous failures)

I have managed to track down the problem to the Capture Setup
namely the RedRat Changer Plugin, If I set the Changer Plugin to No Channel Changer Required all works ok!

I have managed to removed many of the errors within the log mostly down to modifying the Config.xml and setting full paths to gbpvr.mdb

The log file still shows the plugin path with a double backslash and therefore cannot find the plugins

This settings is not in the config.xml any idea where this path is set as I would like to remove this error to help me track why the RedRat plugin is causing me probs.

NORMANR Many Thanks for your help so far

Try copying RedRat.dll from the folder to the gbpvr/web/bin folder. Also copy any plugins that it's failing to find to the gbpvr/web/plugins folder (you may have to create it yourself). fyi: My pc is wokring fine - even with the double backslash.

NORMANR thanks for the help since I moved the redrat.dll into the web\plugins directory everything has been working just fine
Still getting error messages in the log file regarding plugins that can't be found due to the double backslash.
Presumably if the plugin path is defined somewhere then simply changing it may solve may issues with plugins and maybe even in my case the redrat.dll plugin

I would still like to know how to change the plugin path so if anybody knows could they please PM me.

Many Thanks to NORMANR you're a saint and a scholar.
