No video above channel 13

Hello,

I have a Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-250 which works perfectly on all cable channels using the Hauppauge software.

Every other piece of software I have tested with works up to channel 13 but then displays 7 alternating white/black vertical bars or static on all higher channels.

I have removed the Hauppauge software and reinstalled latest drivers but the symptoms remain the same.

I assume that since the Hauppauge software works and this software works on lower channels, the hardware and drivers must be working OK.

I’d appreciate any suggestions.

This is a known issue with a specific version of the drivers in combination with a specific tuner. The version of the software shipped on CD with this device causes this problem for directshow applications like GB-PVR.

Its an easy fix. Install the latest drivers from http://www.shspvr.com/forum
