Cant record series!?

That's what I tried to explain just with not as much detail as Brett

Say I want to record new episodes of a series but my guide doesn't indicate New so I will have old shows mixed in with the new.  I simply delete the scheduled recording of old shows so they don't record.  I am sure you have no problem there.  If NextPVR didn't keep track of those deleted recordings the next EPG you'd have to repeat the process.

yeah ok that all makes sense, out of interest is there a way to wipe the guide memory completely like you are wanting to start fresh?

so next weeks shows have populated in the guide and the "series" recordings are there so i think we are all good now.

would be good if it came up with a pop up note telling you that the series is being recorded but this episode was previously deleted so it will not be added again or give you the option to re add it? if i had that all of this could have been avoided cause i would have known what was happening.

You are using Kodi there no API for that kind of interaction. It is really only a problem because you deleted one off recording if you had created the rule and continued everything would have been fine.
