I get the following message when I select LiveTV
Error: Object reference not set to instance of an object

I'm using a Hauppage WinTV-PVR-USB2 device. It sees the device
when scanning for channels and finds all the appropriate channels.
I'm guessing it is misconfigured, but I can't tell where.

Hi. Sorry to bother. I've exhausted my experience and researched the forum as much as I could.

I've got a similar problem as above but with pvr 250. I've rechecked my capture source setup a number of times. The only thing that help a little was uncheck live preview box under miscellaneous, but that only shows black and white picture and too much on a delay.

Here's my log, hope someone can help. Thanks to everyone in the forum and Sub for all your wonderful work. Gotta love GB-PVR!

Mike

Both of you send your logs to me at support@devnz.com and I'll take a look.

Turning off the TV Preview got the video working!
Now I'm not sure how to change channels, particularly
to a channel I have that isn't coming over the air
but is a UHF channel from another device in my home.

You'll need to add that channel to your capture source in the config. You'll need to enter either the channel number or the frequency. After that you should be able to use the up/down buttons on your remote.

I added the channel in the capture config with both the name and the channel number and it still is not accessible with up or down arrow or by typing in the channel number. I can remove channels by unchecking them, but this additional channel doesn't get added.

I can see the channel on different channels, however. I don't understand the relationship between the capture channels and the guide channels. I can see the UHF channel I added on multiple channels that would be visible on a Dish satellite tuner, but all I'm using is an over-the-air tuner (WinTV-PVR-USB2).

Have you read http://www.bladerhq.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.ph...igChannels and http://www.bladerhq.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.ph...tureSource ?

Yes, but there doesn't seem to be any way to add (or delete) a channel on the Channels tab. The channel I added to the capture channels selection doesn't show up on the channels tab. This is what leads to my confusion. Basically these two don't agree as to channel name and number.
