Can I play my audio out of my PVR350?

I have a PVR350 and PVR150 combined setup and everything is running great! I was in a MythTV black hole for a long time and after FINALLY (1 month) getting it to run, my mother board went on it and I just haven't had the motivation to try it again, and then I found gbpvr and had it setup in 1 night! Fantastic work guys!!

Anyway...what I would like to do is play my audio out through my pvr350, not out of audio output from my sound card. I have a system located very far from my TV and have converted from my pvr350 output to coax and ran it to my TV. All works great, but I have no sound when I play my MP3's. Is there any way to redirect the audio sound to go out through the TV output of the pvr350?? By doing that I can utilize the TV to play the music and simply play my TV through my stereo anyway. I have already run an audio line from the output of my sound card into the signal input on my pvr350, but I don't think I'm on the right track. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Most people place a loop back cable from the PVR350's audio out, back to the sound card line-in, and then go from line-out on their sound card to the TV. This allows you to use both music files and video files seamlessly on the PVR350.

Yeah, that's an option, but I was trying to have a setup that can run straight into a TV for all of the features. For example, if I had a setup in one room that doesn't have a stereo, but still want access to everything. I can definitely run a seperate audio line if I have to, but wanted to come up with a way to do it all through the TV out.

I'm wondering if I did a loopback from pvr350 into sound card, as you mentioned and then take the audio output from the sound card and convert it to 2 RCA plugs and run that into my coax converter...that might work.

Yes that worked. So...just for those that want a single co-ax solution for running all of their sound out of a PVR-350...

I did a loopback from the PVR-350 to the sound card for the audio outputs (red and white obviously) and ran the video output (yellow) to the coax signal converter. I needed a conversion between a single stereo post plug to rca plugs for this. I then used the identical type of cable (2 rca to single stereo post) and ran out of the sound card's output and into the coax audio plugs. I now have everything working and running a long distance through a single coax cable. Not sure why the heck I didn't think of this before...
