Cablebox IEEE1394/Firewire port support

Does any of you have an add-on solution for GB-PVR to connect PC directly to IEEE1394/Firewire port of cablebox to view/record digital and high definition channels. Can the solution provided by AVS forum be integrated in GB-PVR as a standard add-on?

I've no plans to implement support for this myself.

I've provided an interface for developers to implement their own recording sources. Hopefully someone will take this on in the future.
