Jeff
Is that what I need to disable? Should I remove that file? Is it "DVD INFO EDITOR.EXE"? if so is it version 1.0.1984.14399?

I am also now getting the description of shows changed to movie titles that resemble the episode title! One show's description is now a description of a Sony CDRW drive! What a hoot!

No, removing getdvdinfo or dvd info editor won't help. The look up happens automatically in the background. The plug-in monitors the DVD, video, and recordings directories and does lookups when it sees directories or .mpg files created or mpg files renamed.

Are you renaming the recordings with a utility after they are created? The plug-in does not automatically move information from the old name to the new name. This would be a new feature that I'd have to add for this to work. What is happening is just as you say. It does a lookup for the new name as if it were a movie.

Jeff,
I got the issues straightened out thanks to your message, and I also deleted the video archive.mdb, and it recreated fine. The mpegs are no longer with funky descriptions when using the video plugin to view them. I did find a small 'bug'
when sorting buy file name, it doesn't sort numbers properly. See the attached image. No biggie, if it bugs me, I will just pad with '0's.
