PVR 150 issues?

That could certainly be an issue. I am using a Compaq Evo D500 so I assume the ps is quite weak. With the exception of buying a new case, ps, mobo/cpu and ram I don't have any real way to test that theory. Still though when using either Mythtv or Wintv I don't have any issue with getting a clear picture all the time.

You could, I suppose, if you have an extra supply, crudely attach it to the board in place of the one there to test. I'm not recommending it, and it would be a pain to do. But, as I'm someone willing to take chances like that at the risk of blowing things up (and do, periodically), it would be a *possibility* to do for the bold/stupid.

*Or* you could take out anything not needed for the most basic test, if this is an option (DVD, sound, extra HD, turn off extra fans, etc). Again, at your own peril.

Last option is to record a fuzzy show. It'll depend on whether or not the system will record the bad reception/processing or not. If it doesn't, then the recording should be clearer than the broadcast, since the TV card will not be in use to watch (if you're using sw decoding that is)

Stripped everything out of the pc other than vid card and hdd - no change. Currently back to mythtv...oh well.
