I have tried other PCI cards in the slot and they work. I tried changing the slots, and the hauppauge card is still not recognized. So, I think it is a motherboard/card problem. I have not tried updating the bios, so maybe i should try that first.

How does the ATI theater 550 Pro card compare to the hauppauge pvr-150 card? Can any remote work well with GB-PVR?

Are there any cards that have multiple tuners on them?

Thanks!

Did you install the VIA 4-in-1 drivers? You probably have but thought I'd mention it just in case.
GB-PVR 1.0.16 (recording service and database) running on: VIA EPIA 5000 (533Mhz), 512MB, 40GB HD, PVR-150MCE, USB-UIRT controlling Sky Digital box.

GB-PVR 1.3.11 (front-end and client for above) running on: Toshiba NB100 netbook 1.6Ghz, 160GB HD, 1GB RAM.

Front-end viewed on 2xMVPs (using mvpmc dongle).

No, not just any remote, although most do with a little fussing.

The Hauppauge PVR-500 is a dual tuner card, and I think there's two others, but of no significance, because they don't work in gbpvr. Smile
You can never have enough tuners!
Pentium Quad / 4Gb Dual Channel RAM / XPSP3 / 2 x PVR-500, PVR-250 / GB-PVR
