Video Archiver Losing Description

Just tried archiving for the first time as my recording drive is running out of space

I tried archiving an episode which had an episode name and description beforehand, but after the episode was archived it ended up with an episode name of 'allintitle: star trek enterprise_20050605_20002100 site:imdb.com - Google Search' and no description which isn't what I expected :confused:

The Video Archive database had the information for the episode in before I tried archiving, but afterwards it was replaced with the information shown above.

The title getting messed up like this is a bug that I have fix in the next release. However, it should only be doing this lookup if the directory into which the file is being copied is a DVD directory? Are you using the same set of directories to store both recordings and DVDs? If so, you should use differnt ones. For DVDs, the plug-in tries to fetch a name for the movie from IBMD and/or amazon.com. For recordings it just leaves them alone. I am just dong some final testing on the new release and will post it later tonight or tomorrow.

To fix your particular problem, if you do have recordings and DVDs going into the same set of directories, you can use the DVD Info Editor utility. That will let you manualy enter the name and description.

Yes both the Recordings and DVDs are going to the same path

I'll split them out and try again after the next release
