Looks very good so far,

I'm just finding that the description for the programme a little small on the TV guide screen, and the red bar at the top to show a pending recording just a little too subtle to see at a glance

I'm also seeing the same problem as limiter on Recording Soon on the main menu

Dottore - My wife pointed out that she was unable to delete failed recordings. When she demonstrated the problem I found that the "Are you sure..." confirmation dialog box didn't pop up. I thought I'd let you know.

strange, it should at least give you a message on a missing skin-element. but i know, i have skinned this part and i tried it right now: works! maybe the version i uploaded lacks this dialog....

the recording soon-thing on the main menu will be fixed, the description part in the tv guide is already fixed. i will increase the width of the red bar at the top.

i think, there will be two versions of the skin: one with glossy overlay and one without.

one thought though.. could you add the subtitle information in the pending recordings screen? i have circled in the screenshot attached what i am looking for.

Comment - I think the TV guide needs a little work. When compared to other skins it feels like this guide tries to squeeze more channels into the same amount of vertical space. Rather than adding more channels per "page", I think it would be better to remove a few of the visible channels (contour's TV guide has the perfect number of channels per page IMO). Instead, I think it would be better utilize the extra horizontal real estate to either provide more show data by increasing the viewable size of each time slot or increase the number of viewable time slots from 2 hours to 2.5 or 3.

Does that make any sense?

Changing the TV guide makes sense it would allow for more space for the programme description especially when using SQLite

so, you think, the sidebar-thing should be removed and the description should be positioned at the bottom like in olbia?

the viewable time slot is something i cannot change in the skin. you must edit the config.xml to do that.

i think, the sidebar should stay where it is (for the inset, the plugin title and the task-image). the description will move at the bottom and a few channels will be removed.

is that ok?

Try a different web browser. Sometimes attachments on this forum have trouble with IE.

Playing arround with it, and this showed up in an image in another post but wasn't highlighted. The Main Menu date and time run into each other (US date formats are wider).

Also, if you increase vertical space for the text for the buttons by just a little more, you will have room for two rows of text with word wrap.
