Ok, editing the Config.xml for the MVP crashes the APP. Went to original and all is well.

Now I can't get the the gbpvrrecordingservice.exe to stay on!

It is shutting itself down and driving me crazy.

My procedure was:

1) Had it working
2) Copy config.xml
3) Edit New config.xml
4) Crash
5) Replaced original config.xml
6) Now service will not stay on.

NOTE: Using ONLY included skins and plugins.

Sub,
Hi, just installed the release and it looks good. You suggested to me the other day that the BDA support will/may work for the Pinnacle MediaCenter 300i. I'm guessing that this means tweaking the bda.ini but my futile attempts to do it myself have failed and so I can only sit and dream of recording the England v Wales game on Saturday.

Any help would be gratefully received.

Cheers

Hi sub,

is it possible in this new version to change audio streams in mpeg files? I did not read it in the changes.

Chris, if you download and run graphedit form http://www.devnz.com/downloads/graphedit.zip

Open the bda.ini file, and add a new section for your card. Get the filter names for your card from the GraphEdit -> Insert Filter menu. Expand the BDA categories to see the names. The pin names also need to be correct. If you select these filters, then click the 'Insert' button. It show a picture of the filter, including it's pin names.

Sorry, brief instructions I know. Bit rushed at the moment.

Thanks sub for your answer.

Hope the stream changing feature made a jump in your priority hit parade after you released a new version.

I know, everybody wants to have his own GBPVR.

Hope you have some time for your daughter, it is so important.
( you have one right?))

[b Wrote:Quote[/b] ] - Added tv guide that can be viewed over live tv. You can access it by pressing either the 'guide' button on the new 45 button Hauppauge remote, or the 'Go' button on the older remote. Developers can replace this if they want, using the VideoPopupTask setting in the config.xml file.
Sub,
What key press turns off this guide? I've got the older remote and pressing Go again does not toggle the display.

[b Wrote:Quote[/b] ]Like a couple of other folks said, with this new release I am only able to get video using VMR9; before (02313) I was only able to get video using Overlay.

Can someone that uses overlay please try the updated patch from http://www.gbpvr.com/NativeUtilities.zip to see if it corrects the problem?
I tried the new NativeUtilities.dll and Overlay does now display video... one anomaly is that on a channel switch the program info displays for about 5 seconds with blacked out video ... after that the video displays. VRM9 still works fine, displaying both the program info 'overlayed' on the video.

Sub,

You are correct, the special buttons,"TV","Videos","Music", etc., on the new remote are working with the MVP. The buttons that do not work for me on the MVP are the dedicated "Volume" and "Channel" buttons.

Any ideas??

Later,
